Entering Eurocup-3

The formation of Versa Evans GP comes after a successful 2023 season for Versa Motorsport and Evans GP. In S5000 and the GB4 Championship, the teams achieved a combined total of nine race wins and thirty podium finishes.

By joining Eurocup-3, Versa Evans GP is set to offer a robust platform for Formula 4 drivers and senior karting drivers to progress in a competitive international environment. The championship is noted for its challenging circuits, comprehensive media coverage, and strong on-track attendance.

The 2024 Eurocup-3 season is scheduled to take place across Europe’s most iconic racetracks, starting with pre-season testing in Spa-Francorchamps, Belgium. Versa Evans GP plans to run up to three cars and is currently finalising its driver lineup, with announcements expected shortly.

A “strategic collaboration”

Joshua Evans, Team Principal of Evans GP, emphasised the significance of this partnership: “The formation of Versa Evans GP represents a strategic collaboration between Evans GP and Versa Motorsport.

“Having worked together since early 2023, I could see that Versa’s goals and philosophy of working was very similar to that of Evans GP. We’re looking forward to further building on this.

“Our goal in Eurocup-3 is to compete at the highest level, maximising performance and success.”

Toby Pope, Team Principal of Versa Motorsport, also shared his thoughts: “This partnership with Evans GP marks a new chapter in our journey.
