The Bangsaen Grand Prix roared to life this morning with the qualifying sessions for the Toyota Hilux Revo OMR, Toyota Yaris OMR, and the official practice for the Toyota Corolla Altis GR Sport OMR and Toyota Yaris Ativ Lady OMR categories.

The weather was warm and dry, although damp patches on the track added an extra layer of challenge for the drivers, particularly during the Toyota Yaris OMR session.

Toyota Hilux Revo OMR qualifying

The first qualifying session of the day began at 08:45 AM with the Toyota Hilux Revo OMR. Parpol Chuenwichit of Nexter GG Racing emerged as the fastest driver, clocking an impressive lap time of 2:15.495. Hot on his heels was Arunpong Sririt from Nexter Racing Team by Vanguard, just 0.052 seconds behind. Mekkaradkeeta Kalantananda of Alander Nexzter Hurricane MX Racing Team secured the third spot with a time of 2:15.752.

Toyota Yaris OMR qualifying

At 09:00 AM, the Toyota Yaris OMR qualifying session kicked off. Varunchit Wattanathanakun set the pace with a fastest lap of 2:17.405. Alexander Van Mourik of Forton Racing Team followed closely with a time of 2:17.643. Brendan Paul Antony from Superclub Racing Team rounded out the top three with a time of 2:18.588. The damp patches on the track made for a tricky session, but the drivers navigated the conditions expertly.

Toyota Corolla Altis GR Sport OMR / Toyota Yaris Ativ Lady OMR official practice

The official practice sessions began at 09:15 AM with the Toyota Corolla Altis GR Sport OMR, immediately followed by the Toyota Yaris Ativ Lady OMR at 09:35 AM.

In the Toyota Corolla Altis GR Sport OMR category, Phanathkot Asadthorn of Lin Motorsport dominated the session, clocking a fastest lap of 2:02.529. Tayaphol Kongsuwan from 411 Garage by Eakie and Rotor Thongchua of Superclub Racing Team took second and third places, respectively.

In the Toyota Yaris Ativ Lady OMR class, Sitanun Pikulkajorn of Superclub Racing Team led the field with a time of 2:20.287. Siripakorn Yeaybon from TMC-Drive 68 Lenso by Woot Bangbon3 and Natthawalun Sansuk of KUROKI RACING followed in second and third positions.
