Saranyoo Aonjaiaue, racing for อภิชา ติฟาร์ม เอ็มเอกชาติ ชาบูเถ้าแก่น้อย SMK AKANA MKSport by ช่างวัฒน์ อู๊ด อ๋อง ระยอง in his #54 Isuzu All New, started the race from pole position ahead of his teammate Supamongkol Detpetch in the #58. However, Detpetch got the jump on the start and quickly established his position in the lead.

Ittisak Kawewadee in the SSK สมศักดิ์การช่างสัตหีบ ครัวบุษกรบ้านฉาง OMC Racing #30 Isuzu All New and Teerasak Kumsrisuk in the ACDelco Thailand Racing Team #19 Chevrolet Colorado tangled at T3 not long afterwards. The safety car was deployed to neutralise the race, and Detpetch had to keep his wits about him at the restart.

He certainly did so, as Detpetch increased his gap ahead of Aonjaiaue from 0.889s at the restart to 3.705s a lap later. He continued to increase his advantage over the rest of the field as the race went on. Kawewadee and Kumsrisuk’s collision was determined a racing incident and no further action was taken.

Behind Detpech, Suradet Sanjinda in the Alpha Factory Racing Team by Pulzar #35 Isuzu D-Max and Agkachat Meeprom in the  อภิชา ติฟาร์ม เอ็มเอกชาติ ชาบูเถ้าแก่น้อย SMK AKANA MKSport by ช่างวัฒน์ อู๊ด อ๋อง ระยอง #34 Isuzu All new battled closely for third, with Sanjinda ultimately coming out on top.

However, the race was abruptly brought to a halt after Nutthapong Cherdchu’s ทรัพย์ทองธารา KHD by อู๊ดอ๋องระยอง #50 Isuzu All New rolled over onto its side with four laps to go. Red flags were immediately deployed and the race did not resume. As results reverted to the previous lap, Cherdchu ultimately placed seventh despite his crash.
