After an exciting round at Algarve, the F4 Spanish Championship heads to Circuit Paul Ricard in Le castellet for the third round of the season. Asian Motorsport previews the weekend before the racing starts.

Round two of the Spanish F4 season saw MP Motorsport driver Keanu Al Azhari finish on the podium in all three races, winning races one and three and finishing second in race two behind Ernesto Rivera, extending his championship lead to Lucas Fluxa.

Elsewhere, Campos driver Enzo Tarnvanichkul scored points in the third race, as Sainteloc’s Yevan David and Monlau Motorsport’s Rehan Hakim struggled throughout the weekend.

Asian drivers and where they stand

MP Motorsport’s Keanu Al Azhari (UAE) currently leads the championship by 28 points after a dominating round at Portimao.

Yevan David (LKA), driving for Sainteloc Racing sits 16th in the standings, one spot ahead of Campos driver Enzo Tarnvanichkul (THA), who sits 17th in the standings with a best result of seventh at Jarama.

Monlau Motorsport’s Rehan Hakim (IND) is yet to score points and sits 35rd in the championship with a best finish of 23rd.

Driver changes

Adam Al Azhari (UAE) will replace Gustaw Wiśniewski at Tecnicar Motorsport, joining his brother on the Spanish F4 grid from Paul Ricard onwards.
