After an exciting opening round at Jarama, the F4 Spanish Championship heads to the Algarve International Circuit in Portimao for the second round of the season. Asian Motorsport previews the weekend before the racing starts.

Round one of the Spanish F4 season saw MP Motorsport driver Keanu Al Azhari finish on the podium twice, with a second-place in race one and a third-place in race two as well as the fastest lap.

Elsewhere, Campos driver Enzo Tarnvanichkul and Sainteloc driver Yevan David both achieved points-finishes in Jarama after both finishing in seventh in race two and three respectively.

Asian drivers and where they stand

Keanu Al Azhari, from the United Arab Emirates, currently sits third in the championship after achieving his two podiums.

Sri Lanka’s Yevan David sits 14th in the standings with Red Bull Junior and Thai driver Enzo Tarnvanichkul in 16th.

Monlau Motorsport’s Rehan Hakim from India is yet to score points and sits 33rd in the championship with a best finish of 24th.
