Prema Racing announced today their line-ups for the upcoming Formula Regional Middle East Championship and F4 UAE Championship, The team, renowned for its success in nurturing young talent, is set to race in UAE with a line-up that blends both experience and promising newcomers.

In the Formula Regional series, PREMA Racing will be fielding a strong contingent of four cars, all under the Mumbai Falcons banner, continuing their partnership from the previous year. Headlining the pack is Brazilian talent Rafael Camara, who comes off a positive debut season in Formula Regional.

Joining him are American Ugo Ugochukwu, as well as, Australian James Wharton, the reigning F4 UAE Champion. Both drivers will preparing for their upcoming season in FRECA. The fourth car will feature Arvid Lindblad, who is looking to smoothen his transition from Formula 4 to the 2024 FIA Formula 3 Championship.

For the Formula 4 UAE Championship, Prema will be racing under two banners. Under the Mumbai Falcons Racing banner, they will field four cars which include Kean Nakamura-Berta, Alex Powell, Freddie Slater, and Dion Gowda.

Powell and Slater made their racing debuts last year, whilst Japanese-Slovakian Nakamura-Berta will be making the transition to car racing after a successful karting career. Indian racer Dion Gowda, a winner in the 2023 British F4 Championship, will make his debut racing with Prema after testing with them towards the end of last year.

Under their own banner, Prema will be fielding three cars. Rashid Al Dhaheri embarks on his second year in Formula 4 racing with the team, partnering with Doriane Pin and Tomass Štolcermanis. Pin, a French racer with a hugely impressive year in FIA World Endurance Championship, secured second place overall and the rookie title in the Formula 4 SEA Championship. Latvian Štolcermanis, who also raced in F4 SEA, will contest the two final rounds of the championship.

The first round of the F4 UAE and FRMEC seasons will get underway on the Corkscrew layout of the Yas Marina Circuit this weekend. All races will be live streamed on YouTube.
