Race Highlights

Race 2 featured a reverse top 10 grid, creating a dynamic and unpredictable race. The action started immediately with a safety car deployment on the first lap due to a collision between car 99, driven by Fu Yuhao, and car 12, driven by Hoang Dat Sawer. Both drivers were forced to retire from the race. Notably, Sawer had climbed to 5th position before the incident.

Oscar Pedersen, who started further down the grid due to the reverse format, made a remarkable charge through the field, moving up to second place 17 minutes into the 30-minute race. Despite his efforts, Pedersen could not close the gap to Liu Kai Shun, who maintained his lead and secured the win for Black Blade Racing.

The race saw several other incidents, including a crash involving car 24 with 11 minutes remaining and contact among cars in positions 5th, 6th, and 7th. Car 2 spun with 9 minutes to go, further adding to the race’s drama.
