As soon as the night fully settled in, rain hit the track and gave another challenge to teams and drivers. Despite this most drivers managed to continue racing as normal on track, navigating the treacherous conditions skillfully.

A few cars pulled into the garage during this segment of the race to fix problems with their cars, but other cars also went back out on track after spending many hours in, including Okabe Jidosha Motorsport’s #16 Nissan Fairlady Z and K’s Frontier KTM Cars’ #2 KTM X-Bow GTX.

Another full course yellow was called after the #59 2W Zoomies x GR Garage Yamaguchi-Shunan Toyota Supra GT4 stopped on the inside of the chicane with 15 hours remaining and had to be pulled out of the track.

The race also saw its first crash, with the #60 Team G/Motion Toyota GR86 hitting the wall before the chicane, bringing out another full course yellow until the track was cleared.

At the same time the #66 Over Drive Mazda Roadster pulled into the garage with damage on the rear and retired from the race.
A full course yellow was called once again, this time for debris found on the pit exit and at the chicane.

Zhongsheng Rookie Racing currently leads by a lap over the #23 TKRI Mercedes AMG GT3 EVO.
