After a thrilling round at Ledenon, the French F4 championship heads to the Spa-Francorchamps circuit in Belgium for the third round of the season. Asian Motorsport previews the weekend before the racing starts.

Round two of the French F4 championship saw Japanese driver Taito Kato achieve two podiums, including a win in the third race, to take the championship lead heading into Spa-Francorchamps.

Elsewhere in the field, Thailand’s Rayan Caretti achieved two top 5s, whilst Chinese-Canadian Jason Leung only achieved tenth place in race one and India’s Arjun Chheda was unable to score points.

Asian drivers and where they stand

Honda Junior and rookie Taito Kato is the current championship leader, having scored a podium in all but one races so far.

Rayan Caretti currently sits fifth in the championship, with a podium to his name, achieved in the third race at Nogaro.

Jason Leung, in his second year in the championship, stands tenth in the championship, with a best result of sixth in the third race at Nogaro.

Arjun Chheda is yet to score points and currently sits 23rd in the championship, with a best result of 18th.
