The 2024 F4 UAE championship returns for more action after a short break. Containers arrived in Dubai earlier this week, with the grid set to race at the Dubai Autodrome this weekend.

As we reach the mid-point of the season, Freddie Slater leads the championship with a comfortable 23-point lead over Keanu Al Azhari.

Slater, driving for Mumbai Falcons, secured his first win in Race 3 of Round 1. In Round 2, Slater graced the podium for all three races, securing P1, P3, and P2 in Races 1, 2, and 3, respectively. The Mumbai Falcons driver has shown a consistent performance in both rounds, giving him 110 points.

Yas Heat’s Keanu Al Azhari has also been mostly consistent in his results, with 87 points in the drivers’ standings. In Round 1, Al Azhari saw two podium finishes, with P2 in Race 1 and P3 in Race 3. Round 2 showed a stellar performance from Al Azhari, with the UAE driver securing a double win in Race 2 and Race 3.

Third in the drivers’ standings is Mumbai Falcons’ Kean Nakamura-Berta with 72 points. Nakamura-Berta was the opening winner of the season when he scored P1 in Race 1 of Round 1 and has since scored consistent points by finishing in the middle-to-upper segments of the top 10.

The Race 2 winner of Round 1, PHM AIX’s Nikita Bedrin, sits fourth in the championship with 64 points.

Heading into the weekend, Slater will look to extend his lead over the rest of the field, while Al Azhari hopes to continue his fine form from the last round.
