Ningbo, October 12, 2023 – Excitement is building as Audi returns to the heart of motorsport action with the China Endurance Championship (CEC), gearing up for the penultimate round of the season at the prestigious Ningbo International Speedpark. This event, set to unfold on October 14th and 15th, promises a thrilling spectacle as Audi’s formidable lineup takes on the challenge.

Leading the charge is the FAW Audi Racing Team, showcasing their prowess with an impressive eight-car entry. Among the star-studded lineup, Audi Sport Asia driver Cheng Congfu, fresh off his Fanatec GT World Challenge Asia China Cup triumph alongside Sun Jingzu, reunites with talented partner Chris Chia. Their formidable partnership, which secured them overall victory on their CEC season debut in Ningbo earlier this year, is poised for another shot at glory. A win here could propel Chia into contention for the Audi Sport Asia Trophy, offering a share of the coveted Euro 100,000 prize purse.

Adding to the excitement, Climax Racing enters the fray with an all-Am lineup of Li Dongsheng, Li Donghui, and Zhou Liyuan, aiming to clinch podium positions after narrowly missing out in previous rounds. Winhere by HAR, fresh from a podium finish in the previous Ningbo race, returns with their Audi R8 LMS GT4, featuring drivers Deng Yi and Xu Zheyu.

In the TCE class, the competition intensifies with multiple Audi RS 3 LMS entries. 326 Racing Team fields two entries, one for the formidable trio of Wu Yifan, Qiu Yiheng, and Shi Ke, and another for the accomplished drivers Zhao Di, Zhu Shengdong, and Lai Jingwen, who previously secured a podium finish in round one. GYT Racing, with Shi Yinrong, Xu Dan, and Zhang Hongyu, alongside 109 Racing’s talented lineup of Deng Baowei, Zhang Cheng, and Wan Jincun, promises to make the race fiercely contested. Joining them is the formidable YC Sport Racing Team trio comprising Liu Fei, Wang Rui, and Li Shan.

The action-packed weekend kicks off with an hour-long free practice session on Saturday, October 14, at 09:30 (UTC+08:00), followed by qualifying at 15:20. The race day, Sunday, will witness the adrenaline-pumping race starting at 13:50, promising fans a riveting motorsport experience.
