Boccolacci’s time was 0.289s faster than the second-placed #4 Mercedes-AMG GT3 Evo of Grove Racing.

Absolute Racing’s #26 Audi finished the nighttime session in third, 0.766s off the quickest time.

Despite topping the session, Absolute Racing’s #911 Porsche only completed 14 laps during the nighttime test and spent the last hour in the pits.

By comparison, the second-placed Grove Racing Mercedes and third-placed Absolute Racing Audi ran for most of the session and each completed 39 laps.

Thursday’s nighttime session was the only nighttime running available to teams before the 12 Hours of Sepang on Saturday. The race will run from 10 am to 10 pm local time (2 am to 2 pm GMT).

Two test sessions held on Thursday afternoon

Earlier on Thursday, teams also had the chance to test during two 45-minute daytime sessions.

Thursday’s three sessions were official test sessions.

Two official practice sessions will be held on Friday morning with qualifying for the 12-hour on Friday afternoon.
