In an impressive performance, 99 Racing clinched victory in Race 3 of the 2023/2024 Asian Le Mans Series at the Dubai Autodrome Circuit. The event featured intense competition, unexpected incidents, and standout racing across multiple categories.

The race got off to a turbulent start, marked by a spinning #47 COOL Racing Oreca 07-Gibson, causing collisions involving Douglas Khoo in the #65 Viper Niza and James Cottingham in the #69 Optimum Motorsport. The incident forced the #65, #69, and #47 out of the race. The #19 also sustained damage, leading to its retirement two hours into the race.

Following the restart, the #99 driven by Ahmad Al Harty and #90 TF Sport engaged in a fierce battle at the front until the initial pit stop. As the race unfolded, #99 consistently led the timing sheets.

In the final hour, the #22 Proton Competition, piloted by Julien Andlauer, closed in on #99. However, a combination of a flawless final pit stop and an exceptional drive by Louis Deletraz secured the win for #99 Racing, strengthening their Championship lead.

In the LMP3 category, a late safety car reshuffled the standings, bringing the #26 Bretton Racing entry back into contention. Ultimately, James Winslow in the #17 COOL Racing Ligier JS P320-Nissan emerged victorious, claiming both the race win and the Championship lead for COOL Racing.

The GT class witnessed a dynamic battle, with pole-sitter Anthony Liu leading for a significant portion of the race.

A full-course yellow 2.5 hours in caused changes in leadership, as the #91 Pure Rxcing Porsche 911 GT3 R, steered by Joel Sturm, seized the lead from the #7 Al Manar Racing by Getspeed Mercedes-AMG GT3 EVO, driven by Al Faisal Al Zubair.

Klaus Bachler, taking over for #91 during pit stops, maintained the lead, securing a crucial victory and valuable Championship points for Pure Rxcing.
