The #911 Absolute Racing Porsche narrowly leads the #44 R&B Racing Porsche with ninety minutes to go in the 12 Hours of Sepang, but strategies are still yet to fully play out.

Three cars were on the lead lap with ninety minutes left in the 12 Hours of Sepang.

The #911 Absolute Racing Porsche led the race, with an eight-second gap back to the #44 R&B Racing Porsche in second.

The third-placed car was the #26 Absolute Racing Audi. It was 90 seconds off the lead. It has recovered to a podium position after contact on the opening lap. The car was hit at turn one, which caused a puncture and put the car a lap down.

Despite the Absolute Racing Porsche leading with 90 minutes to go, pitstop strategies still need to play out.

Due to a maximum stint length of 65 minutes, Absolute Racing’s Porsche should have to pit twice to get to the end.

But, in theory, the second-placed R&B Racing and third-placed Absolute Racing cars could get to the end with just one stop.

The sun has set in Sepang and the race will finish in darkness at 10 pm local time.

Some light rain fell on the track just before the ten-hour mark.

Earlier, the #4 Grove Racing Mercedes caused a crash which saw the Porsche #61 EBM car flipped onto its side.

The crash eliminated the Grove Racing car, which led earlier in the day.
