There was already drama before the race had even started, as Jack Lemvard’s Team Ford-Cre #41 Ford Ranger stopped on track on the formation lap due to technical issues. An extra formation lap was announced at 09:50, before the 36 remaining pickups ended up forming up on the grid while marshals recovered the stricken #41. The race eventually started in a single-file formation behind the safety car.

The start was incident-free, as Chucharoenpon quickly established a lead in his Nexzter Motorsport #15 Isuzu All New. By the end of lap two, Chucharoenpon had built a 1.066-second gap to second place. Ekasit Namsaengpa’s #2 ZIC Tune by AOT Isuzu D-Max spun, losing several positions, while Takashi Hata in the #37 spun in Sector 1 on the third lap. Supakorn Jodtang in the #4 pitted after just one lap, with the #37 and the #92 also pitting later in the race for repairs.

Oil was reported on the track at Turns 1, 3, 5, 8, and 11, adding to the challenge that the drivers faced. Despite this, Chucharoenpon extended his lead to 1.712 seconds after lap three and 5.898s after lap seven. In Pickup B, Suwat Limjirapinya in the Isuzu Suphan Explorer Liqui Moly Racing Team #59 led by a substantial margin of 23.766 seconds over his teammate Anuwat Mainiain in the #95.

The biggest improver in terms of grid positions was Chinnawut Laochinchart in the Alpha Factory Racing Team by Pulzar Isuzu D-Mac, who moved up from 13th on the grid to finish 5th. Chucharoenpon won with a commanding 9.856s gap to his closest rival, Nutthanuch Wongsomboon.

Cars #53, #25, and #46 were reported for emitting black smoke. The race was eventually red-flagged on the final lap due to a separate incident.
